This is a quart erly program held in schools t o inspire, challenge, ment or and empower young people wit h maximum dext erit y t o manifest t heir purpose, develop t heir pot ent ial, build noble charact er wit h st rong values and t ransform t hem int o leaders of change.
3• EMPOWERED GIRL
Young girls just like boys have t he pot ent ial t o become lawyers, doct ors, ent repreneurs, scient ist s, visionary change makers or leaders in life. I n Africa, young girls face st renuous hurdles t hat prevent t hem from reaching t heir full pot ent ial. Unwantedpregnancies, early marriage and access t o educat ion are t he leading challenges faced by adolescent girls most ly in deprived communit ies. Empowered Girl I nit iative creat es t he plat form for young girls t o be empowered t o build self-est eem, underst and t heir sexualit y, build confidence and develop t heir full potential.
4• RURAL GIRL AID PROJECT (RGAP)
This intervention is aimed at empowering young rural w omen by providing them with business and vocational skills training and supporting them in starting a business or seeking employment. It is also aimed to increase social empowerment for young w omen, while emphasizing the importance of engaging and involving women in community advancements.
